Lovely Fall Weather...and a little Visitor

I absolutely love this time of year. A time when the seasons once again turn, and the land gets a bit of rest and renewal. When the sap of the trees begin to head towards the roots for a winter sleep, and the leaves start to change. The air gets crisper, and cool breezes float across what was once summers hot abode.Summer has fled and Fall has arrived. With it comes the time that we start nesting a bit more, we start thinking about bringing out our favorite soup recipes. We start cranking out our… Continue

Bringing Back The Victory Garden

I was recently approached by Zan Asha of "Big Town Farmer" a small bi monthly website devoted to folks living in the "Big City" who are looking for simpler ways of life/sustainability.
Here is the article that Zan featured on her website at www.bigtownfarmer.com

Tina- Your darling garland arrived in the mail today! Oh, my gosh I just love those little mushrooms. :) I have already hung it up in my sewing room. I forgot to take pictures before I hung it up, but I will get them later tonight. Thank you so very much. I hope you like the one I sent you. :)

My daughter is doing better, it is just going to take a while to get over it.

I'll try to post a pic of my pin keep, but I don't own a digital camera so it will depend on if I can get to Cheney and borrow one from one of my daughters. Hoping to get one for my birthday, christmas, mothers day, or I might have to go buy my own, lol.

Yes, Lora sent hers to me. I have been out of town because my daughter had surgery and I had to take care of her and my granddaughter, plus I have been sick, so I haven't got Lora's mailed, but she knows and she knows what is going on. I'll be mailing it soon. Her birthday is next week and I'll stick it in with her birthday package.

Wanted to let you know I have been working on the article you asked me for regarding English muffins. Photographed the process yesterday, plan to try a new, totally different process in the coming days and will write the piece comparing each recipe. Here's a sneak peek:

Thanks Tina I do all of that, but maybe not often enough. I am not obsessing over it. I just don't know what to do with the things after I make them. I only have so many friendsto give to.
