I was so excited when I got the package yesterday. Even my husband couldn't wait to see them. They are all so lovely...So OUT with the old ones and IN with the new ones. Thank you everyone who participated and Naomi for hosting this wonderful swap.
so pretty.I managed to find seed for a solid yellow variety of bleeding heart that I "hope" to grow at a new home..I need to find a plant of this type though as I have always loved how these look.well..whatever you or the plant did your plant look...
I was a city girl but have lived in a village that has a population of just under 4,000 people for almost 24 years. We live on 3/4 of an acre, but it still has the feel of country living. I'm hoping to get some tips about gardening and canning mostly. I can't wait to really be able to spend more time looking around this site.
I see you love photography, horses, gardening and homemade laundry soap!
I made the detergent last year after one of my friends gave me the recipe and have about a dozen other ladies using it now!
Your horses are quarter horses? I have two Appaloosas and a Paint. My troops are mainly retired and just eat and poop! LOL
My relatives in Germany grow asparagus but they harvest them when they're still in the ground (only the tip peeks up). They dig them up and they're white and taste a little different. I never bothered to ask them if that's a different variety..hmmmm..will need to check that out! That's what's so much fun about this forum...always keeps your mind going! LOL
Come visit me at Curly Willows Ranch it seems like we may have lots in common!
