What a productive day! Put up a gal (in 1/2 pint lots) of hot sauce, cooked & froze 8 qts pintos & baked 2 fresh veggie filled lasagnas!

I garden year-round; cook from scratch; love talking about food and simple living. Simple living means many things to many people: our version includes energy efficiency, living without TV or cell phone, growing much of our own food, raising chickens and selling eggs, and resisting the urge to buy things we don't need.
