*Handmade* Potholder Swap- Swap packages sent August 25th- swap over

Ok Ladies!
My turn to host a swap!

Handmade Potholders

Size:They need to be 8 inches on each side but can be any shape, but keep in mind they need to be usable.
Filler: several layers of fleece, or cotton batting, or a single or double layer of insul-bright(potholder batting).
Design: Summer themed- all nine can look the same or each one can be different.

I'm going to limit this swap to 10 people right now, if we get more interest, I'll do another bigger one at the end of this one.

The way this will work:
You will make 9 potholders in the specified size, send them to me along with $5.70(or stamps equal to this) to cover postage and tracking on a flatrate envelope, these need to be me by August 5th. This gives you over way a month to do this, plenty of time for an easy project. You could easy get all nine done in a day.
I in turn will sort it out, everyone will get 9 different potholders , and I will ship by August 12th.
Just post here if you want to join in! Sign up deadline is June 30th.

When you are ready to send your potholders- just message me and I'll give you my address.

My potholders arrived yesterday. What a treat! And if there is something I always need, it is potholders....who made what? I made the ones with the pink polka dot middles, but I'm curious to know who did which...

Hey, Karin!
I'm not surprised that one is yours ~ hand quilted!! :) Very nice, I love all the different fabrics you put into it.
Mine are the round pocket ones. They were so easy to make and fun! Here's the link to a post on my blog about them with another link for the tutorial:

I apologize to all of you for not getting my potholders sent out! I was really looking forward to getting some new pretty ones! I just got so swamped that I lost track of it even after Nay e-mailed me! I have been homeschooling and I am trying to sort stuff out because it looks like we are moving sometime in October! Most of the time I don't know whether I am coming or going! I hope you will all forgive me!
